Samunnat Nepal is based in Birtamod in eastern Nepal. It provides women with material support, counselling, accommodation, legal representation, income generation training, mentoring and human rights information. Programs are tailor made for each woman and these programs are funded by the sale of jewellery made by some of the women. Our organisation, Samunnat Inc., helps with logistically difficult activities: sales and distribution of jewellery; the purchasing of materials not available in Nepal; and additional fundraising. We are a sounding board and resource for ideas and spend regular time helping to build the organisation’s capacity.

Our glorious Dhaka Dangle earrings are chandelier style earrings in the palettes of some of our traditional Dhaka fabrics. The simple shapes make them stylish and the movement makes them eye catching. They are light and easy to wear. As always, we provide cushion backs and surgical stainless steel findings.
